Hello,
I am trying to determine whether VM's from an Instantiated VApp Template are using a certain Storage Profile. I am having great difficulty accessing this data without letting the task finish (letting the VApp (and its child VM's) instantiate, and checking after).
I have tried two solutions so far which have failed. The blocking task gives me the VApp object of the instantiated Template. Browsing through the XML file of this object does not help. Trying to thumb through the children VM's is also a lost cause since there are no VM's inside of the VApp at the time of inspection.
