I have a Windows 2008 R2 Enterprise server that only shows one CPU in the windows task manager even though I have added multiple sockets and cores.
The ESXi server shows 4 CPU Cores and 1 physical CPU in the Summary and Configuration tabs. I thought the server had multiple physical CPU's but apparently not since the config tab only shows one.
Is the reason for this problem because ESXi will not let me over allocate my CPU's? Thanks.
