Which one is better for a good esx lab :
T3500 = ONE x W3520 with 24GB RAM - ONE NIC
z600 = TWO x E5530 (QuadCore-HT), 24GB ECC RAM - Dual Nics
Z600 can go upto 48GB RAM (Which I will upgrade to in June 2013 - for now it has 24GB)
Q : Would I get advantage of Dual Quad Core CPUS with HT as compared to the T3500 with ONE x Quad Core HT processor ?
I am not very well aware of esx architecture and I have heard that to utilize the true power of dual quad core cpus - an application has to be mult-threaded ?
Will be grateful for your advises / suggestions (I personally like both - but z600 looks good then t3500).
