vCenter server corrupted

Still new to the virtual world.  I have put in a call to our 3rd part vendor who installed our vCenter.  But, I was wondering if someone could guide me in the right direction.  We had a power outage this morning.  Our generator kicked in, but had issues.  So, we had to shut down servers.  We almost had to shutdown the whole virtual environment, but we got power back before then.

Now, we can't connect to our vCenter server anymore...thus, we can't use vSphere Client.  I was able to login into the specific server that hosts the vCenter server using vSphere Client, but it said it can't find the vmdk file.  I've got snapshots, but I created those snapshots using software from within vSphere Client using that server.  I only practiced/tested restoring servers using that client.

I can see the snapshots from the SAN itself, but can I recreate that server using them from the SAN.  Our environment is running fine with all the other servers so its not life and death, but I only have 6 snapshots or so that will cycle through within a few days.

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.  I will start researching more myself...hopefully I will have our 3rd party company get a hold of me soon as well.

Thanks,

Ryan
