HCIbench - IP Assignment Failed when running test

I've deployed the HCIbench ova on my VSAN, following the instructions in the User Guide. I logged into the web interface and setup a test, generated a parameter file, downloaded / uploaded vdbench, saved the config, and successfully validated the config. But the test fails with IP errors:

Deployment Started.

IP Assignment Failed, Deleting VMs If Deployed...

VMs Deleted

Testing Failed, For Details Please Find Logs in /opt/automation/logs

Please Cancel And Re-Run The Testing

When I look at the appliance in vSphere, I see that it has 2 IP's; one is correct for our network, and the other is not: 192.168.0.1.  I can obviously web into the appliance, so I know the LAN IP is working. I guess maybe I don't understand this part of the guide:

"...map the “Public Network” to the network which the HCIBench will be accessed through; if the network prepared for Vdbench Guest VM doesn’t have DHCP service, map the “Private Network” to the same network, otherwise just ignore the “Private Network”."

Help? Thanks!
