How to aliviate High CPU on a VM

Hello,

Not sure how to phrase my question but I have a VM with 1 vCPU and 4GB of vRAM.

I have set a custom alarm to be alerted with 90% warning and 95% cpu.

This VM between 8:30am until 9:00am reaches 300Mhz, 100% percent of the CPU.

What are your thoughts in how to aliviate that spike ?

My goal is to have eveything green on my virtual environment

Also, I am evaluating vCOPS. See screenshot from vCOPS and vCenter.
