My Fusion 4 for mac running windows 7,is stuck in suspend mode.
Dire emergency, I have a MacBook Pro (2Ghz core i7;8GB ram) running Lion 10.7.5.
For about a year now I have been running VmWare's Fusion v 4.0.2 with windows7 loaded. since about jan 2013 Fusion has been stuck in suspend. When I try to reactivate it, i get three messages in sucession
1)Unable to Retrieve Kernel Zone Size
2)Failed to Initialize Monitor Device
3)Cannot find a valid peer process to connect to
So far i have tried to
- backup and delete the vmwarevm file, un- and reinstall the VMware Fusion 4 app. I reinstalled the vmware fusion app and reloaded the vmwarevm file and ran it. Didn't work. Just gave me the 3 above messages.
-Nor did uninstalling return the 4GB ram I had assigned to the Vmware app, back to the OSX host system.
(You can only reallocate hardware resources when the emulated OS (Win7)has been shut down)so my my osx runs slow.
anybody with any suggestions ?
