Hi all,
I have 2 servers (all wihteboxes). I have 2 identical server (dual opteron) with 3ware 9550SXU sata raid adapter and 1 server with am adaptec 2410SA sata adapter.
Both identical server are on esi 4.0 U1 and the one with 2410SA is on 5.1 (testing) .
Here questions:
- what will the best esxi version I should put on all my servers ?
- is it possible to get my adaptec working on 5.1 (not only the storage but also the monitoring of it)
- I would like to get the best of my servers in term of storage performance. (I would like to keep my hardware as is) Or I can buy sub 100$ raid card if it help)
