We are trying to get a Citrix provisioned server(Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1) working in VMware Esxi 6.0 in a test environment, in production it resides on KVM(Kernel Based Virtual Machine).
The issue we are having is that for the PXE boot in KVM it is using a Red Hat Linux network driver, when it is booting in VMware it is getting the error in the attached image.
We do not want to make any changes to the server in the prod environment.
Does anyone know if there is a way to create the base VM in VMware used for the PXE boot to include other network drivers other than the E1000, VMXNET2 or VMXNET 3 drivers, i.e.
a Red hat Linux driver.
