hi this has been driving me a bit mad.
i can boot into my vmware image of xp in normal mode fine. however i want to bring up the repair option using the xpSP3 disc to attempt to change to VLK license.
The problem i have is that i never get the repair screen when running the XP CD, it goes straight to the format hardrive option.
I have tried the method where the floppy files are attached and i load the scsi drivers via f6, f2 etc but this does not work.
This is driving me a bit crazy and no one seems to know a way around it.
is there anything im doing wrong or missing?
