Hi,
Plateform : vSphere 5.0.0 Upd1 on a single physical server.
We want to deploy a Oracle RAC 10g of 2 nodes supported by Red Hat Entreprise Linux 6.
Each node had a particular harddrive of 146 Go and share another one of 550 Go (scsix:y.sharing = multi-writer).
The installation of the first node was a success, and after reboot of the VM, i can log on.
The Installation of the second node was a success too, until the final reboot of the RHEL installation. After it, i can see the logo VMware appears and disappears, replaced by a black screen with a not blinking prompt.
Like the first node, I've set the second node with 2 CPU and 8 Go of RAM.
The black screen is always present even if :
- the first node is power on/off.
- the second node has 1 or 2 CPU
- The second node has 1 HD + 1 HD shared or 1 HD only.
In black screen mode, the "CTRL+ALT+INSER" works but no improving.
I've no access to any prompt Linux and can't see log of RHEL installation.
I dont understand why the 2nd VM doesn't work and the 1st works "perfectly".
I look in the vmware.log of the 2nd node but i dont see anything wrong, but i'm not a expert.
Have you a advice, a tip, a thing to do to help me, plz ?
