I have attached a diagram of my SRM setup in VMware.
I have read the best practice guides which said its ok to be on a physical or virtual, but I'm concerned that this would prevent SRM from working during a live DR.
For example, the SRM and vCenter databases are located on a VM which I will be migrating with SRM. If the virtual machine is powered off from the SRM process, how is it meant to read the database?
Should I place the databases on the main physical production vCenter server? The only reason I held back originally was due to another MSSQL license.
