My host system is running Windows 7 and I have an Ubuntu Guest running 10.04 LTS. When I click install VMware tools on my VMware player. The download keeps failing with the message [Connection to the update server failed], every time. I have tried this several times and still haven't had any luck. Is there an alternative to this procedure to install tools on my VM?
