I already have a Windows 2012 cluster on my VMWare ESXi 5.1 home rig. I am attempting to do the same thing for Windows 2008 R2. I have built two Win2008R2 VMs to become nodes in a cluster. I created a Eager-Zeroed disk in one of the VMs with Virtual Device Node SCSI (1:0), changed the SCSI controller 1 to Virtal SCSI Bus sharing.
On the second node I tried to add the virtual disk to the VM with these steps:
- VM->Settings
Add...Hard disk
Use an existing virtual disk
Browsed to the file path of Node 1 and added the disk
Changed Virtual Device Node to (1:0)
Clicked Finish
Clicked OK to make the changes.
I then get the following error: File [VM Name]_1-flat.vmdk was not found
Any ideas?
