Hi Guys, can I first say I'm really excited about Log Insight - I'm sure a lot of people will have tried to do what you're doing now with the likes of Splunk; attempting to fully understand what various parts of the vSphere infrastructure are doing and providing some history and context to what one sees when one has to go log diving is hugely useful.
Regarding my issue - I attempted the initial configuration from an older infrastructure server that only had IE9 on it. The wizard allowed me to progress, however once I got the "Select NTP source" page, clicking the "test connectivity" knocked me back to the start of the wizard. When I then attempted to navigate to just "https://[ip address of log insight host]/", it then presented me with the "Sorry, this browser is not supported".
I'd suggest that to ensure the initial configuration completes properly that this browser test should occur before the wizard, opposed to just at first login - as I know a lot of people will be running slightly dated versions of Internet Explorer on their infrastructure/terminal servers that will be accessing this initially before they realise that a more modern browser is required.
I hope this sort of feedback is useful.
Cheers,
Sam
