Native Cisco VPN in OS X under Fusion 5

I'm currently looking to move from running a few simple Windows VMs under VirtualBox to Fusion 5 on a Mountain Lion host, so that I can run a ML VM guest for my work.

I have tested connecting to my work Cisco VPN on the host which connects and I can ping everything I'd expect to.  Then I configured my guest using a bridged network (Tried both on WiFi and Ethernet) and set up the VPN exactly the same way.  When I connect it does so correctly, but then I cannot ping anything on the corporate network.  I'm using the native ML Cisco VPN client.

I've tried everything I can think of and I'm gutted I can't get it working.  Nearly all posts I've read are for troubleshooting getting it working using NAT and in those cases my scenario just works for others.

The top of the routing table from the guest looks like this..  and there are no other routes which could cause a conflict.

default     utun0     UCS     5     0     utun0

default     192.168.1.1     UGScI     1     0     en0

I've looked at the routing tables both on the host and guest and compared them thinking I would find something but they are configured in a way that would make me think it should work.  I've looked at ifconfig outputs and checked I don't have a MTU config error between host and guest so I'm now totally stuck and really hope that someone has come across this before and can please help.

Thanks
