Hi all,
I passed today, woohoo. I got 89%.
For me the exam was quite easy but you need to know your maximums, permissions, resource groups and SAN technologies (obviously).
These resources are what I used to pass and I thought they prepared me very well:
User manual from the course (very good but not to be used as the only resource)
PDFs from the VMware website (I think the best resources are here). The most useful for me were the Configuration Guide, SAN guides (iSCSI & Fibre Channel), Resource Management guide (very good), Backup Guide and the Blueprint.
I also used some training videos (like CBTs) from Elias Khnaser (good overview and useful I thought)
Experience with the product (I have used the product a lot in the last year)
The mock exam from VMware (beware: if you can get 90% or more here, dont think you are ready! Read the PDFs again).
As an extra (but not essential) I read parts of the Advanced Technical Design Guide & Advanced Operations Guide from Mike Laverick/Scott Herold/Ron Oglesby
I hope the above information helps other people.
I really want to thank the other people that posted in the forums as they gave me good pointers of what to study.
Good luck to anyone else taking the exam soon...
