hello everyone. i'm still new with vmware.
ESXi 4.1 with same vSphere Client and datastore residing on an iSCSI SAN.
Installed the vCLI 4.1 successfully on Win7 workstation.
Open up a command prompt.
Browse over to the installed directory.
Typed: vicfg-nas.pl -- esxi4 --list
A username/password prompts.
Credentials entered and accepted.
A momentary pause.
Message appears: No NAS datastore found
what i'm trying to do is change the name of a vmdk file. if anyone has any insight, it would be greatly appreciated. in the meantime, i'll keep doing research to figure this out.
