Accessing ESXi Hosts with Client Can Cause issues

Hi there

In my Lowe book he says that if an ESXi host is being managed by vCenter Server that using vSphere Client to access that host directly can "cause negative effects in vCenter Server".

So once we add hosts to vCenter server are we never to access the hosts using the client and instead do all management through the server?
