I have a host connected via iSCSI to a EMC CX4-120.
Port 0 of each SP is connected to subnet 10.1.66.0/24.
Port 1 of each SP is connected to subnet 10.1.67.0/24
Port 0 of the host's NIC is connected to subnet 10.1.66.0/24
Port 1 of the host's NIC is connected to subnet 10.1.67.0/24
Within vSphere (5.1), I created a new switch and added the host's NICs, both NICs being active.
I created a VMkernel PortGroup - iSCSI1 - IP Address - 10.1.66.19 - VMNIC4 ACTIVE, VMNIC5 UNUSED
I created a VMkernel PortGroup - iSCSI2 - IP Address - 10.1.67.19 - VMNIC4 UNUSED, VMNIC5 ACTIVE
I added both VMkernel Port Groups to the Software iSCSI Initiator.
PG iSCSI1 status is Last Active
PG iSCSI2 status is Not Used (?)
I can connect to LUNs, but I all connects are being made via subnet 10.1.66.0/24.
Is this by design or am I missing something?
