I'm about to setup a small vmware view ENTERPRISE implementation for testing purposes.
From what I´ve been reading this is what I think will work:
One 2U Rack server (DELL, HP) 96 GB RAM, 2 CPUs, 6 Harddrives 900GB each in a RAID 5 and 8 Gigabit Ports.
In this server I will install a Bundle called: vmware view 5 Enterprise Bundle: 10 Pack.
So in this ESX Server I will install:
10 Win7 Desktops, I will load the same apps on each desktop.
1 vcenter (Win2008)
1 view manager (Win2008)
1 view connection server (Win2008)
Do I need Active Directory, can this work in a Workgroup environment?
