Hey,
Earlier this year, I purchased a macbook pro and have been trying to run windows 7 on VMWare 5.0.1. Whenever I load the vm to run windows, I experience a very slow computer and can't possibly use either the windows or the mac os.
My computers specs are -
My activity monitor window kind of puts me on a forever low -
- high CPU usage for the vmware-vmx process (>100% !!!!!!)
- practically no free memory
- high page outs
- sad parameters for the wired, active, inactive memory
More Details -
- I have allocated 1 processor core, 1024 MB memory to the virtual machine
- I have no shared/ mirrored folders
- My VM Disk size is 60 GB
I would be glad to see if I can run windows on my mac comfortably. I have moderate usage on microsoft office products and use the mac os mostly - I would be happy to use the windows on a mac environment and not having to reboot into a windows environment by using bootcamp.
What are my possible options?
