preserve folders (and printers) in C: drive on RECOMPOSE

Hi

we are implementing a vmware view horizon 5.2 scenario for a client, on top of vmware esxi 5.0, soon 5.1, on a 3 blades cluster on an ibm bladecenter S chassis

we made a 7 32bit vm, optimized it, installed common software, vmware tools, agent, html5 agent, closed, snapshotted and deployed 10 desktops

view clients are ubuntu 12.04, with standard view 1.7 client, and vmware-view-usb support for printing and standard usb taken from hp client (usb "pens" and printers are passed to vm correctly and work now)

the problem is with printers and some folders on C drive (there's a vm assignment per user, for what i explain at following point 2)...

1) different users have different printers, some networked, some directly usb attached: so, they are installed on a per user basis, after deploying the vm pools... but, recomposing removes every printer configuration, and all of this must be redone on recompose...

2) there's a software that uses some parameters written both in ini file (pc name and user specific parameters, in c:\programs\appname folder), and registry, and as such cannot be used by other users and this software cannot be installed in the gold image...

we tried to install this software directly on D: drive (permanent one created by pool provisioning), which preserve the ini files but the registry keys are lost... so it does not work, and on recompose it must be reinstalled...

any way to bypass these problems, and have customization surviving the recomposing operations?

thanks, best regards
