Failed to clone disk: There is not enough space on the file system for the selected operation (13)

Hi all!

I installed and configured ghettoVBB on an ESXi 5.0.0 build-469512. On this ESXi I have 2 VM: "LinuxServer" and "WindowsServer". It's about one month that every 3 days the cloning of the WindowsServer fails with the message: "There is not enough space on the file system for the selected operation (13)":

Cloning disk '/vmfs/volumes/datastore1/WindowsServer/WindowsServer.vmdk'...

The destination folder is on a NAS (mounted as a datastore on the ESXi).

My question is this: "not enough space" is intended in source file system or in destination file system? The situation before backup is this:

2013-05-26 23:15:51 -- debug: Storage Information before backup:

2013-05-26 23:15:51 -- debug: SRC_DATASTORE: datastore1

2013-05-26 23:15:52 -- debug: SRC_DATASTORE_CAPACITY: 926.5 GB

2013-05-26 23:15:52 -- debug: SRC_DATASTORE_FREE: 161.1 GB

2013-05-26 23:15:52 -- debug: SRC_DATASTORE_BLOCKSIZE: 1

2013-05-26 23:15:52 -- debug: SRC_DATASTORE_MAX_FILE_SIZE: 256 GB

2013-05-26 23:15:52 -- debug:

2013-05-26 23:15:52 -- debug: DST_DATASTORE: backup_esxi

2013-05-26 23:15:52 -- debug: DST_DATASTORE_CAPACITY: 1832.3 GB

2013-05-26 23:15:52 -- debug: DST_DATASTORE_FREE: 839.1 GB

2013-05-26 23:15:52 -- debug: DST_DATASTORE_BLOCKSIZE: NA

2013-05-26 23:15:53 -- debug: DST_DATASTORE_MAX_FILE_SIZE: NA

WindowsServer has only 1 disk of 500GB Thick-provisioned, but the destination .vmdk file is thin provisioned. I guess that it could have problems on the src datastore (because of only 161.1GB of free space), but why it fails every 3 days and not every time it runs?

I tried to change the schedule time and the order of the backups, but nothing changes...

Anyone can help me?

Thanks a lot

Luca
