I am writing a plugin for a hardware management software. Here we have hardware faults like CPU temperature faults, DIMM faults, hard disk faults etc. What will be the best approach to show these hardware faults(alerts) as VC client alarms.
I see the concept of "New Alert Definitions", where trigger can be specified. Can i add my custom triggers. We have java objects created for each faults, Can i have a trigger which look for some id in my java objects and can raise an alarm.
Please suggest, if there is any other way all together to do this.
