Could not connect Ethernet0 to virtual network "VMnet0" on VMware Workstation 9

hello all,

I´m using workstation 9 in a HP laptop with Windows 8.

I built a Windows Server 2012 STD x64 VM (for study purposes) and I connected this VM to network without any problem, all was running fine, BUT some days ago I used the VPN to connect at the corporate network and the problems begun !

Now I can´t connect the VMs in any VMnetork (bridge, NAT, host-only, custom, etc) and when I try I get the follow msg :

"Could not connect Ethernet0 to virtual network "VMnet0".

More information can be found in the vmware.log file."

Checking in this file I saw the report :

vmx| I120: VNET: MACVNetPort_Connect: Ethernet0: can't get driver version (6)

vmx| I120: TOOLS received request in VMX to set option 'synctime' -> '0'

vmx| I120: Msg_Post: Error

vmx| I120: [msg.vnet.connectvnet] Could not connect Ethernet0 to virtual network "VMnet0". More information can be found in the vmware.log file.

vmx| I120: [msg.device.badconnect] Failed to connect virtual device Ethernet0.

I searched in many ways and what I found most closely was this : http://communities.vmware.com/thread/244690?start=0&tstart=0 but didn´t work.

I dont know (but I think) if the VPN system crushed the VM network, I already cleaned the VM network configuration and did again, I did too another VM starting from zero and got the same error.

Anyone is using Workstation 9 already ever seen this error and found the solution ?

I appreciate any help to fix this ! (sorry for my poor english)
