MIgrating vm's from VCenter 2.5 to VCenter 5.1

Hi All,

I have a client who are running vm's built on a VCenter 2.5 - I am building a new VCenter 5.1 environment for him. What is the best way for me to move these 2.5 vm's over to the new environment?

Can I literally just move these vm's to the new environment or do I need to v2v them or what is the best way to proceed?
