Machine Prefix Error and Bug on vCAC and vCloud Director

Hi there,

Can someone please help me - I am pulling my hair out regarding this at the moment.  Basically the problem I am having is:

I create a vApp in vCloud Director and add it to my global catalog.  When test deploying it from VCD it works fine.

When I import the blueprint into vCAC and deploy it from there the machine name (using the prefix) gets muddled up.

The vApp is created with the next sequence of number: i.e. MACHINE001 then the actual VM is created with the following number sequence i.e.: MACHINE002.  This means that each blueprint I provision used 2 machine prefixes.  Also to make matters worse the My Machines view is showing the Machine name for the 1st one (The vApp) also the e-mail that gets sent out is the same.  The only way I can get the correct name is to connect to VCD and check in the cloud there....

Someone please help - its driving me mad.... All this after finding out about a bug with Static IP Pools and adding the server to the domain - all very frustrating....

Thanks in advance

Dave
