Currently running Windows 7 as a guest under VMWare and as far as I can tell video streaming and local play work fine. For example youtube and a video on the HDD both play without any issues. Now comes Vulkano PC Player, the Slingbox alternative, and the stream is so choppy it's useless. I'm sure it's not my Vulkano setup as it plays fine when I dual boot into my Windows 7 partition. Now here's the kicker... It also plays fine under Windows XP as a guest under VMWare! Hopefully someone out there has some suggestions as I would rather not keep Windows XP around any longer...
