I installed vmware tools inside a virtual machine on Workstation 15.
The virtual machine is Debian 10. 64 bit.
But I was not able to copy paste a folder from host OS(Windows 10) to
guest OS (Debian10). I I wanted to try Vmware-tools that comes on by default with vmware workstation
but this thing (drag and drop or
copy folder from Windows10 to Debian10) does not seem to work.
I tried using open-vm-tools package by OS vendor (Debian in this case) but the feature I
wanted to access (drag and drop a folder from host os to guest OS did not worked).
I also wanted links open in firefox or chrome in Guest OS to be copy pasted in Chrome in Debian (Guest OS) and
open those links in Debian rather than using on Firefox.
So how can I achieve this. I tried things on Vmware 15.
All host and guest OS are 64 bit.
