Hello Everyone, I had a question about resources. I've installed ESX & ESXi a few times. I have also installed 5.0 once. BUt, I have never installed ESXi5 in a clustered enviornment. I am considering running 5.1 in my 4.1 enviornment (not even sure if that's possible) and/or upgrading my enviornment to 5.1.
The catalyst of this is that I have 2 ESXi 4.1 servers in my cluster and I am about to install a 3rd host. I am trying to decide if I want to run 4.1 (to make it like the rest) or 5.1 (to future proof it). I am not aware of any specific features that 5.1 offers that I need & this is a small enviorment. I don't have enough time to upgrade hosts 1&2 before I need host 3 ready for production.
So, my question is... Can anyone recommend some quality resources (ie books) to help me out? I identified a few on Amazon, but the ones that I am looking at don't seem to cover 5.1 - they only cover 5.0.
Or, maybe VMWare has some documents to cover this?
