Does anyone know how to let a ESXi VM guest use an fibre channel SAN volume as a shared storage volume (for a microsoft failover cluster) for multiple VM's?
The ESXi machines (2) already use the Fibre channel SAN for VM disk storage on another volume, that works just fine. I just want to have a volume on the SAN that multiple VM's can share inside Windows.
Tried to build it with Raw Device Mappings by adding a new Hard Disk to the machines, and while the VM's see the disk just fine it doesn't seem shared. The data they add to that disk after bringing it online and formatting (NTFS formatted then) is local to that machine, the other VM won't see it and can instead put stuff on there like it's a new disk.
Some help would be greatly appreciated, otherwise i'll have to use a slow QNAP iSCSI solution (but which would be setup in 2 seconds).
