Hello!
I have VMware Server 2 installed on Ubuntu 11.04 Server and WinXP SP3 virtual machine running in it. VM is in the HostOnly network and gets IP in this network automatically (I can see it with ipconfig command in the VM, e. g. 172.16.192.128).
But I can't ping my VM from the host and I can't ping my host (172.16.192.1) from VM.
The main gateway in the VM is set to 172.16.192.1.
There are no VMware Tools in the VM.
The Linux kernel on the host is 2.6.38-16.
VMware Server version: 2.0.2.
VMware Server restart didn't help...
Am I missing something?
