Hello everyone, here is my question:
I have a laptop with Windows 7 installed. Inside the laptop, I installed VMWare Workstation 6.5. Inside the VMWare, I installed 2 client PCs, Windows XP and Windows 7. I also installed the Windows 2008 R2 server as a Domain Controller with DNS and DHCP services installed. My laptop gets the internet connection from my home wireless router.
The question is, how can I configure the DHCP to assign IP Addresses to the VM clients (XP and 7), while providing them with the internet connection. I tried, however the VM clients keep getting the IP from the wireless router, not the DHCP. I need to have the VM clients excluded from the wireless router, but receive IP from DHCP while still being able to access the internet.
Your help is much appreciated. Thank you so much.
