VMWare View is designed to allow access to virtual desktops almost on any device which is a wonderful thing. It is a shame to restrict access, but my client requires that users are prevented from accessing their virtual desktops from their home PCs or tablets. We have no VPN in place, we just have security servers with RSA tokens. Users who can work from home have company supplied laptops which they must use when connecting to the network. I can't see any option to restrict access using View, has anyone come about this problem before? Did you manage to resolve the problem without investing in a VPN solution?
